How RTP changes the expected loss
| RTP | House edge | Expected loss |
|---|
RTP is a long-run average across millions of spins. In a single session, especially on high-volatility slots, results can be far above or below it. Check a game's RTP in its info or help screen, because some games are offered at more than one RTP setting.

How to use the RTP calculator
RTP (return to player) is the share of all money staked that a slot pays back over time. A 96% RTP slot keeps £4 of every £100 staked on average. Enter your stake per spin, how many spins you plan to play and the game’s RTP. The table then shows how the expected loss changes at other RTPs. Read more in what RTP means in slots.
Why RTP matters
The difference between RTPs looks small but adds up. 1,000 spins at £1 cost an expected £60 at 94% RTP and £30 at 97% RTP. Some slots are offered at several RTP settings, so check the game’s info screen before you play.

Does a higher RTP mean I will win?

Does RTP affect bonus value?
